Igor Kmeto – Ja Som Funky

Igor Kmeto is a Slovak funky singer who is know as a member of his father’s group Kmetoband.
Since today he released his debut album called JA SOM FUNKY (I AM FUNKY) and he is preparing his second album recently.
He was born on 8th of March 1979 in Bratislava, Slovak Republic. In age of six he started to play drums with major success!
Further he studied piano and saxo play at school. His father sent him to the USA to study modern music at the age of 16.
In 2003 he started his professional career and released his 1st single Bubamara which was sold around 60.000 pieces until today.
In 2004 he invited slovak rapper Rytmus for cooperation. As a result of their cooperation the single Amen Savore was produced and performed.
Recently Igor is busy in his company Gitanorecords where he produced many songs mostly for slovak singers and rappers.

The song “Ja som funky” from his debut album JA SOM FUNKY. Album itself was in creation for 5 years. This album brought funky music style among people of Czech and Slovak republic with major success.
